The Charles Middleton Party showing the trophy Gag Grouper caught in
Sarasota Bay. It was a week from hell, the wind blew from every direction
and hard. Charles and brother Larry are old customers, but this time Charles
brought along some young men to fish, and they really wanted to fish. I told them,
it was going to be a hard day, and we couldn't go offshore as usual, but they
decided to fish the bay (a little calmer). We caught a number of smaller grouper
and other fish, but the high point of the day was this young man pulling a huge
Gag Grouper up, and he had quite a fight with it. Thank you Charles for bringing
these great young guys fishing with us, we really enjoyed the day, even though
we couldn't go into the Gulf. We hope to see you all again soon.
