SPRING 09 REPORT!

OFFSHORE
This winter has been a good one to fish. The wind seemed to pick the right times to blow for us. And the calm times turned up Kingfish all the way into February. Although we caught some Grouper, the new laws didn't allow us to keep them, but the Snapper bit quite regularly, and one trip in February, we landed 14 Kings (only brought home the legal amount), we also landed 4 Tuny on this day and 40 Snapper, also one Blacknose Shark. So we are not complaining about this Winter. We should have a very good Spring by the looks of the weather, and that means early Kings, we hope. The Shark have stuck with us most of the Winter, and we are looking forward to the big bulls, Blacktip, Spinners, and Hammers in the Spring. Come get your share of the big ones. The Cobia should be coming very shortly, and they will be hungry and ready to fight.
