Carl Schmos caught this huge 100+ pound Cobia on trip with Al Danko party. This was quite a sight.
We had boats piled up for an hour and 58 minutes watching this fight in Tampa Bay. The angry Cobia drug us
all over the South end of Tampa Bay. Cobia caught on light tackle do not give up, you can't sike them out like
Tarpon or some other fish. They don't stop fighting til their blood oxygen is gone. This was a masterpiece of angling.
When I finally gaffed her, the hook was hanging by a thread of inner mouth skin. Great job Carl.
