GREAT SHARK ATTACK
OFFSHORE HE ATE A SCREAMING 14 POUND TUNY.
It's not enough that we have landed some great Amerjack, Trophy Kingfish (one nounted), big Gag Grouper
this week, but we had a guy who just wanted some action, and he came late in the afternoon. Well, I said,
we can keep you busy, and I didn't realize how true that would be. After bringing about a dozen Tuny to the
boat, we encountered a big Tuny who didn't want to come to the boat. Of course, we found out why shortly.
There were two big Bull Sharks waiting for him. Now this is a little unusual to have shark in this close this
time of year, but there have been some caught lately, and this pair were hungry. The fight was two and a half
hours long, and the rod was passed to the mate and me, everyone was wore out by the time he came to the gaff,
which was right at dark. Anyway it looks like there are a few nice catches out here if anyone is interested in a
long fight on 20 pound test line, Thank god we were using YO-ZURI Hybrid line, it lasted, where most lines
would have stretched out and broke with this much strain on it, YO-ZURI hung in there for us. You got'ta try it.

Bent rods and screaming reels, see ya on the water.
