THE SPRING KINGS ARE HERE.

OFFSHORE
The Spring Kingfish run is finally in our area, and the best thing about it is that we have not been landing a lot of snakes (small Kings). In fact, we have been landing most between 28 and 40 pounders. We believe this will continue as long as the water doesn't get above the 80 degree mark. At that point they seem to slow some, but we are still getting quite a few large ones. The Shark seem to be having a great time eating the bait on the short reefs also. We have caught q uite a few Bull, Blacktip, and Blacknose Shark lately. Some Bulls in the two to three hundred pound area. The snapper is still with us, and the Grouper is starting to show up pretty well on our catches. The Cobia are on the beach chasing the bait also. We are also catching big numbers of Banded Rudderfish, and some great big Spanish Mackeral. You better come get in on the fun while they are HOT. The Skipper (Captain RW Best), even got in on the first picture of the Bull Shark.
