Mate Mr. Dan Bowman with a 40.2 pound Blackfin Tuna. At the time this fish was landed,
this Blackfin was only 2 pounds off the All Tackle World Record. The fight was one of the hottest fights I have
ever wittnessed. It left Dan wet from his socks to his hat. It was caught on a Blood Bomber trolled at about 200ft
on 15# Berkely Big Game line, and a Shimano TLD-20 reel. Dan is a good angler, but he was ready to collapse by
the time I gaffed this fish. Blackfin Tuna are among the toughest fighting fish pound for pound you can catch,
and the eating is absolutely fine. I know, we had some great dinners off this one.
