"Dang-it, I think I'm holding him". "God, this must be a horse". "Here, take this thing, he's about got me wore out already, but I've got him out of the bottom". This is part of a conversation we had while trying to turn a 60+ pound amberjack who was trying to get to a terrably rough bottom which would have cut us off immediately.

With 50 pound test line this would have been a problem, but with 20 pound test line it's nearly impossible. Anyone who has angled big amberjack will understand. It was just about that time I suddenly realized I was pulling with a superior line. I had just put this new line on to try(20# YO-ZURI). We had previously been using, what I knew, as the greatest and strongest line made for years, and anyone who knows me will know what line I used to use. But, a friend told me I just had to try YO-ZURI HYBRID line. Since I trusted this guys opinions, I reluctantly, spooled up my Calutta 700, and my Trinidad 30 with YO-ZURI 20 pound line.

The first thing I noticed was, when I tied my bimini twists, the knot laid down. It hugged the main line instead of trying to loosen itself. Bimini's end knots are notouriously hard to keep tied with most lines, this is due to the hardness and brittleness of the lines. My double uni's also tied tighter and smaller, and this line didn't coil from memory like my previous line. This was a great improvement to me. But, this was just the introduction to a line I would come to love.

Our specialty is Trophy Fish, and I mean BIG Kings, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, Shark, and other hard running, tough fighting fish. I mean if your line isn't the best, you lose them. In the winter, we fish some large amberjack also grouper and snapper. Our credibility as a "Trophy Fish Charter", means some hard tough fishing, and also takes a toll on our line and reels. We have to have the finest and toughest products to survive. With this "Hybrid", you have the best of both worlds. You will find it a joy fishing with YO-ZURI on our vessel.

YO-ZURI also makes the finest, most detailed lures in the business. If you are to be consistently successful fishing for huge, old, smarter fish, it is imperative that you put the best detailed lures before them. The old ones have seen all your wore out lures and they didn't think too much of them. You will pass up a lot of trophy fish you don't even know is there if you don't put a great detailed lure before them. Try it, you'll see the difference. You spend too much money on boats, fuel, tackle, and wasted time not to put a top lure in front of your fish.

Now, guys when you put out a free line, troll, or bottom terminal tackle, don't do it half way. You've done spent all this money to get there, now finish your line with Fluorocarbon leader. If you seen a rope tied to your steak, you may hesitate to eat it, don't expect a smart old fish to be any different or you may be the one that's fooled.
