Alligators are a common site on Florida golf courses. They like to sun on land and look vicious.
However, this is usually not the case if they are left alone. If you decide to challenge one, it may turn and dive
harmlessly into the lake, or it may decide to come after you. That's a position you don't want to be in. So, I would
look at a distance and let the sleeping alligator lie.
